Sony CineAlta F65 and SR Memory File-based Workflow, Pre-employment Training Workshop

SONY ELECTRONICS ENVISIONS THE FUTURE OF DIGITAL CINEMA PRODUCTION WITH THE CINEALTA F65 CAMERA AND SR MEMORY EDITING SYSTEM.

BE THERE AT THE MAY 19-21 WORKSHOP AT SANTA FE STUDIOS.

The Professional Broadcast team of Sony Electronics; Fahrenheit 4:4:4: and Santa Fe Studios in association with the New Mexico Post Alliance announce a professional workshop to introduce the new Sony CineAlta F65/RS digital motion picture camera and SR Memory file-based workflow.

Made possible by the generous support of the New Mexico Film Office, with New Mexico working camera and editing professionals in mind, the two-day intensive workshop will be held in Santa Fe on Saturday and Sunday, May 19 & 20, 2012. The two days of structured Pre-Employment Training Program (PETP) workshops will be followed by informal sessions on “Demo Day” Monday, May 21 when all enrolled workshop participants and invited guests may attend to discover Sony’s vision of the tools and technology of future film-making.

This important professional workshop will concentrate on intensive technical instruction and the practical use of the Sony’s advanced F65 and SR Memory systems to address essential solutions applied to studio and field production, on-set dailies, post-production and multi-platform delivery. All attendees will receive intensive personal instruction, hands-on participation and direct interaction with Sony’s A-team of field professionals there to introduce the impressive capabilities of Sony’s latest image acquisition, editorial and OLED display technologies. Enrolled attendees will have access to working F65 cameras, the latest file-based SR workflow hardware, prepared demos and print materials.

The PREREQS for the SONY F65 and SR MEMORY PETP workshop:

  • A one time non-refundable co-pay fee of $55.00
  • You must not be a full time student
  • You must be a FULL-TIME Resident of New Mexico - provide a copy of your N.M.D.L. & verifiable mailing address
  • You are a working professional in the following categories; Local 600 Director of Photography, Operator, 1st Assistant Camera, Digital Imaging Technician OR Local 700 Editor, 1st assistant editor OR a Colorist OR Color Timer, (union affiliation not required if you meet the pre-req's)
  • Provide a resumé with at least 2 years experience in one of the above categories with or without union affiliation
  • Provide a list of verifiable references (names and telephone numbers)
